The Applied Geoscience Department conducts research on basic and applied problems of water in the aspects of climate and water quantity and quality of surface water and groundwater. This project is carried out by conducting research, consulting and services to academic, social, governmental and private sectors, both regionally and nationally. In addition, through its master's and doctoral programs, it trains highly qualified human resources in the areas of Exploration Geophysics, Hydrology and Meteorology.
