Currently, the design and synthesis of materials for energy storage and environmental decontamination is complex and require interdisciplinary research. The physics of materials (both experimental and theoretical) enables the development of new technologies to solve the current problems of energy conversion/storage, and environmental pollution. This issue is open to researchers around the world working on the physics of materials in the context of Energy and Environmental technologies. It will also feature high-quality papers presented at the 2020 Express Conference on the Physics of Materials and its application in Energy and Environment.
